What is Lifelong Career Mentor (LCM4U)?
LCM4U is a career guidance service. You talk with Dhruv, an AI career mentor, who asks you simple questions one at a time to understand how you think and what matters to you. Then he writes your report: three career paths that suit you, with the salary where you live, how to get there from where you are, and how long it takes.
Is Dhruv a real person?
Dhruv is an AI career mentor. He asks good questions and gives honest advice. Use his report as guidance, and take it to your parents and counsellor so the conversation starts from evidence.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Dhruv's first 8 replies are free, with no signup needed. To go further and get your report, choose a plan.
Who is LCM4U for?
Students choosing a stream, a course or a first job; parents who want to understand their child's options; and working professionals thinking of a change or feeling stuck.
What is in the career report?
Three parts: a summary of your strengths, how you think and what drives you; three career paths, each with why it suits you, the starting salary where you live, how to get there from where you are and how long it takes; and, for students, a short note your parents can read about job stability, earnings and growth.
Can I come back later?
Yes. Dhruv remembers your earlier sessions, so his advice changes as you do. The more you return, the more accurate your report becomes.
Who can see my session?
Your session is saved on your account, so you can return to it. We keep it private. Our AI provider uses it only to write Dhruv's replies. If you are a student, a parent can read your report. See our Privacy Policy for details.
My child wants to use it. Is that safe?
Parents stay in control. A parent can read the report and pause access at any time at lcm4u.com/parent. In some countries we ask for a parent's permission first.
Do I still need a career counsellor?
Dhruv is a starting point, not a verdict. His report gives you reasons you can check, so the choice stays yours, and the talk with your parents or a counsellor starts from evidence, not guesswork. After your report you can also ask for a video session with a working professional in a field you are considering. These mentor sessions are priced separately.

Can I get a refund?
Yes, on every plan: One Career Session, Yearly (including a renewal) and Lifetime. Write to care@lcm4u.com within 5 days of paying and tell us two things: what you did not like, and what new feature you would want, so we can build it and you can come back.
Can I cancel?
Yearly renews automatically, and you can cancel any time from My Account. The year you have paid for stays active until it ends. One Career Session and Lifetime do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
Can I get a refund for a mentor session?
Yes. If a mentor declines, does not answer within 48 hours or has to cancel, you are refunded in full, automatically. Once a mentor has accepted, a cancellation needs the mentor's agreement, and the refund amount is shown to you before you ask. For anything else, write to care@lcm4u.com and we will look at it with you.
